What is your business philosophy?
My philosophy is simple really (not easy, just simple) and is coined by Floyd Wickman. It's:
"To Always... live by the get by giving philosophy". "To always... make my clients #1 goal, my #1 goal""To always... live up to my standards, despite temptations to lower them" "To always... be willing to work toward a common good" “To always... do what I say I will do, sometimes more, just never less"
My business caters to my past clients and referral network. I am constantly in touch with them either by mail or phone, monthly. I want customers to know I am in high touch with them. I want to be at the top of their mind before, during and after a transaction. I also want to be high tech, which is what clients today want and deserve. In order to be all of these things to clients I employ the help of Real Support, my offsite support team and 1 licensed assistant.
How has RealSupport supported you in this philosophy?
Real Support has given me the high tech branch of my business plan by maintaining my website, search engine placement and listing activity tasks regularly. The listing tasks involve creating a visually appealing e-mail blast to send out to my database and the top agents in the area when I want to promote a new listing, creating and mailing Just Listed and Just Sold cards, updating the website with New listing, New price, and Sold info are just a few of the listing tasks I delegate. I also depend on them for their creativity in helping me develop my Quarterly Newsletter to my geographic farm of 500 homes as well as other marketing promotions and invites to customer appreciation parties. Their creativity, flexibility and professionalism has allowed me to be with my clients and in homes which is my forté.
What about the RealSupport team, and/or the services they provide for you, do you find most beneficial, and why?
When my onsite assistant, Jennifer and I are brainstorming about how to improve something or create a new marketing piece, we can just share the ideas with Real Support and all of the sudden there is a quality marketing piece that we can now proof, edit, finalize and implement in much less time (also known as money in this business) than it would've taken us. They have also given me their professional opinion or experience on an item I need help with. They are truly a great reference to have partnered with. I learned early on in this business, from Michael Russer, that you can't be a specialist in every facet of your business. Instead you need to recognize this and hire out/delegate tasks to the specialists in your field. This has saved me time, money and has increased my business!
What is your referral policy (for our clients that may have southern Wisconsin referrals)?
As mentioned above, my business is mostly made up of repeat and referral so any referral sent my way I take care of personally and professionally. In fact this year 75% of my business falls in this category. My usual referral fee paid out is 25% of sale. I would be happy to help anyone's clients in the Milwaukee, Waukesha, Ozaukee and Washington County areas of Wisconsin!
