How to Get the Most Out of Your Craigslist Ads

As many of you know, Craigslist allows you to enter HTML code when creating ads. This allows you to create a much cleaner, nicer looking ad and it's easy! This code is provided by many companies that you might already be putting your listings on (Postlets, Point2, the list goes on).

We have been posting HTML code for our clients for the the past year, then recently noticed that when posting HTML, you don't typically manually add photos, as there are photos in the ad itself. This means, when people are searching through the ads, there is no photo icon next to your posting. Most people, including myself, don't even bother looking at ads without photos!

We found an easy solution - We made a blank white image, and upload it with all ads that we use code for. This means we keep our nice ad, and when people are searching the ads, we show up as having pictures.
